The State-level trial for a hockey competition will be organised at the Indira Gandhi International Sports Stadium in Haldwani on May 29. Providing this information the Dehradun district sports officer Nidhi Binjola informed that the 2nd Hockey India Junior Women and Men North Zone Championship 2024 is scheduled to take place in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh from July 2, with the Hockey Uttarakhand team also set to participate. Considering this, the State-level selection trial for this championship will be held on May 29 at 8 AM at Indira Gandhi International Sports Stadium in Haldwani, Nainital. She emphasised that all players interested in participating in the selection trial must attend the venue on time along with their necessary certificates.
