Special Task Force (STF) busted an international cybercrime racket by arresting two cyber criminals identified as Harjinder Singh and Sandeep Singh from Maharana Pratap Chowk in Raipur. Sandeep is stated to be a trainer of cyber fraudsters. STF officials informed that the gang had transacted crores of rupees mostly in crypto currency through opening fake business bank accounts in several names, adding that crypto currency worth lakhs of rupees, several fake documents, mobiles, laptops and other equipment had been seized from the accused.
STF had formed a special team to investigate alleged cyber fraud in the first week of this month on the direction of the director general of police, Uttarakhand.
