Stop black marketing of heli tickets for Char Dham Yatra: Maharaj to officers

In latest news from Doon, the State Tourism and Religious Affairs minister Satpal Maharaj said that the State government has completed all preparations for the Char Dham Yatra 2025. Along with the local administration, the Tourism department along with other departments are actively engaged in the arrangements and preparations for the Yatra, he added.
The annual Char Dham Yatra is commencing from April 30 with the opening of the portals of Yamunotri and Gangotri shrines while those of Kedarnath, Badrinath and Hemkund Sahib are set to open on May 2, May 4 and May 25 respectively for the devotees.
The minister further said that in view of the rush being seen for helicopter booking, the officials concerned have been instructed to stop illegal sale of helicopter tickets. Besides, the administration is alert to stop illegal parking fee collection on the pilgrimage routes.
