The additional commissioner, ministry of Health Dr Jyoti Rawat reviewed the progress of the programmes being undertaken under the National Health Mission (NHM) at the Health directorate here on Wednesday.
In the meeting she said that all the programmes of NHM should work in coordination with one another so that people can get their benefit from the urban primary health centre. She assured that the union government would provide every possible help in extension of mother and child hospitals and urban health centres and their infrastructure development. The Mission Director of NHM in Uttarakhand, Dr Saroj Naithani said that the programmes of the NHM would be implemented with quality. The meeting was attended by Dr Vinod Tolia, Dr Amit Shukla, state programme officer Mahendra Maurya and others.
