Extending his best wishes to the students appearing in the board examinations, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that their performance would improve if they remain free from examination related stresses and have confidence in their abilities.
He said this after virtually participating in the ‘ Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya here on Friday. In the programme, PM Modi interacted with the students and gave them important tips to solve their problems.
After the programme CM Dhami addressed the students. He said that the manner in which PM Modi has encouraged the students to remain free from examination-related stresses and motivated them would give a push to their morale to a new level. Emphasising on the need to have discipline in order to attain the desired target the CM said that the students should have loads of enthusiasm. He said that since children follow their parents and teachers they play an important role in bringing the best out of them.
The CM said that PM Modi satisfied all the queries of the students and provided solutions to them. He said that the PM rightly said that the problem in online and offline teaching is not about medium but the problem is deep within the heart. ” The PM said that if one is clear in his heart then every work can be accomplished easily,” he said.
Dhami said that in the new education policy the emphasis is on skill development. He added that with the efforts of PM Modi, the NEP is providing the students an opportunity to move forward with pride.
The programme was also attended by Education minister Dhan Singh Rawat, Education secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram, Director General (DG) of Education, Banshidhar Tiwari, district magistrate of Dehradun R Rajesh Kumar and others.
