In latest news from Dehradun, in view of the surge in the number of passengers during the summer season, the Railways has issued notification regarding its move to run trains from Uttarakhand to four towns across India. These four towns are Durai Ajmer, Gorakhpur, Howrah and Muzaffarpur. As per the notification, summer special trains will run between Tanakpur and Durai Ajmer thrice a week from April 22 to June 1. The other summer specials from Dehradun to Gorakhpur, Howrah and Muzaffarpur will run once a week.
