Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri of Shri Panchayat Akhara Shri Niranjani alleged that some “big people” are conspiring to murder him. He said that the man recently caught from Uttar Pradesh was part of this conspiracy. It was alleged that the youth arrested from Sadhvi Trikal Bhavanta’s Ashram in UP had also conducted a recce of his Ashram at Dakshin Kali Mandir in Haridwar on November 29. Along with meeting the security personnel, he had also inquired about their daily routine. He was arrested from the UP Ashram after allegedly telling the ascetic there about his intention to poison Kailashanand.
Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad president Shri Mahant Ravindra Puri and national general secretary Shri Mahant Hari Giri have alleged that some people troubled by the fame of Kailashanand are conspiring to kill him. His security has been beefed up after the alleged assassination plot was unearthed. Though he already has security provided by the State government he has informed the district magistrate and senior superintendent of police while also seeking an inquiry.
