The Alumni Meet-2024, organised at Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU), Jollygrant, saw participation of alumni from the colleges of management, engineering, bioscience and yoga science. During the event, the alumni shared their experiences related to college and career with the new students.
The Himalayan School of Science and Technology (HSST), Himalayan School of Management Studies (HSMS), Himalayan School of Biosciences (HSBS) and Himalayan School of Yoga Sciences (HSYS) alumni participated in the Alumni Meet-2024.
The vice chancellor, Rajendra Dobhal while addressing the attendees highlighted the fact that the former students serve as guides for new students, making them aware of the challenges and opportunities in their careers. He further noted that the alumni are now serving in prestigious institutions across the country and are also involved in research.
The registrar Mukesh Bijlwan mentioned that the Alumni Meet provides an opportunity for knowledge sharing and stressed the importance of staying connected with the university, regardless of one’s current institution.
On this occasion, students engaged in cultural activities, including solo songs and dances.
