Swami Ramtirth propagated love and peace through Vedanta all over the world

Swami Ramtirth and the town of Tehri had long relationship as he spent a considerable part of his life here. Swami Ramtirth propagated love and peace through Vedanta all over the world. Swami Ramtirth became a professor of mathematics after a tough struggle in life and later went to do penance in the Himalayas. On the basis of his experience after his self-realization in Tehri, he spread the message of true Vedanta  in every nook and corner of the world, including the United States.

Both Hindus and Muslims had equal affection for them. In Egypt, he made a distinct identity in the world by teaching the text of unity by giving his lecture in Persian to the Muslim people in an exceptionally large mosque.

The Americans called Swami Ramtirth as  American, in Japan he was known as Japanese and in Persia he was known as Persian resident.The collection of lectures and hand written letters of the great Saint Swami Ramtirtha is scattered everywhere and now the  Swami Ramtirth mission has decided to save the scattered lectures of the seer’s life  and works. Kaka Hariom,  said that the work of  creating a  collection of all the lectures without any tampering has been taken up.  He said that the life and works of Ramtirtha Maharaj will continue to enlighten the world for life  and the mission was trying  preserve his hand written preaching’s too. He left heavenly abode in on 17 October 1906. He spent his last in the Uttarakhand region.
