Noted Hindustani classical singer Vidushi Swarnima Gusain enthralled the audience at a performance held under the aegis of Sangeetanjali Classical Music Society in association with Dr. Balbir Singh Sahitya Kendra here on the weekend. The disciple of famous singers Kishori Amonkar of Jaipur Atrauli Gharana and Girija Devi of Banaras Gharana, Swarnima Gusain presented Thumri, Chaiti, Dadra in Raag Misra Peelu and Bhajans. She was accompanied by Dharmendra Mishra on the harmonium and Shubhojit Bhattacharya on the Tabla. Lovers of classical music and prominent citizens among others were also present during the performance.
