Swindle case filed against CM’s ex-private secretaries

In latest Uttarakhand news, in a stern anti-graft action aimed at making Uttarakhand a corruption-free State, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami ordered the city police station to register cases against some of his former private secretaries regarding a government tender-clearing process involving the owner of a firm based in Patiala Punjab. The former private secretaries of the CM allegedly swindled the firm owner of nearly Rs 3.50 crore. Notably, this action came after the firm owner filed complaint that in the name of clearing tenders, a few former private secretaries of the CM fleeced him of about Rs 3.5 crore. A senior police officer informed that the police had filed cases against P C Upadyaya and his associates Saurabh Sharma, Nandini Vata, Mahesh Mahariya, Amit Lamba and Shah Rukh Khan. A case has been registered against all of them, police said.
