Former Member of Parliament (MP) and chairman of Uttarakhand war memorial Tarun Vijay was elected on Thursday to the governing body of Institute of Defence Studies and Analyses (ISDA) which is a defence think tank of the country.
In the election Vijay received double the support received by his opponent, G Balakrishnan. Other members of IDSA executive council include Defence minister Rajnath Singh, Foreign secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla, Defence secretary Ajay Kumar and retired ambassadors and armed forces veterans.
