To mark the Teachers’ Day, Shri Venkateshwara University hosted a national seminar and Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Samman Samaroh-2025 on Friday. Over 250 principals and educators from various educational institutions were felicitated on the occasion. A veteran educationist and former deputy registrar of Delhi University, Prof R S Sharma and renowned poetess Madhu Chaturvedi were also presented with the ‘Life Time Achievement Award’ for their outstanding educational services.
Addressing the programme, the chairman of the Venkateshwara group of institutions, Sudhir Giri said that only the teachers could help India become a world leader. The pro-chancellor of the university, Rajeev Tyagi echoed the same view, stressing on the monumental role of teachers in driving India ahead. An eminent teacher Sheonath Singh also addressed the commemorative programme. On this occasion, students presented various cultural programmes.
