A technical snag in the state aircraft forced a delay in the return of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami from Delhi to Dehradun on Sunday. The CM was in Delhi on April 30 where he attended the joint conference of chief ministers of the states and chief justices of the high court. The conference was presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Dhami was scheduled to leave Delhi on Sunday morning and was to arrive in Dehradun at 8.30 am. However a technical glitch in his aircraft forced a delay in his return. Dhami then took the helicopter and flew directly to Surkanda Devi temple in Tehri where he inaugurated the ropeway to the temple. He however was forced to cancel his participation in many other programmes in the day.
The CM was scheduled to take part in ‘ Vriksh Ganga’ programme of Dev Sanskriti University at Shanti Kunj in Haridwar and a felicitation ceremony organised by the health department in Dehradun.
