Following the assurance given by chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Teerth Purohits in Kedarnath have suspended their agitation on the proposed Kedarnath temple in Buradi in Delhi. The CM assured the president of Kedar Sabha, Rajkumar Tiwari that the name of Kedarnath Dham will not be used in the temple in Buradi. He also assured that the picture of the Kedarnath Dham will also not be used by those constructing the temple in Buradi. Following the assurance the Teerth Purohits and the stakeholders suspended their agitation.

The Teerth Purohits and the stakeholders were holding a protest in Kedarnath Dham for the last three days. The local shopkeepers and other people were also supporting the agitation. Suspending the agitation, a member of Kedar Sabha said that the Teerth Purohits are satisfied with the assurance given by the CM that the picture and the name of the Kedarnath Dham will not be used by those constructing the temple in Buradi.

He said that the Teerth Purohits have full faith in CM Dhami because he supported their cause when they were protesting against the Devasthanam board. However, the Teerth Purohits warned that they will resume the agitation if those constructing the temple use the name of Kedarnath Dham in the temple in Buradi, Delhi.
