The Tehri district magistrate Mayur Dixit took stock of the progress of several development projects being implemented presently at a meeting here on Thursday. Officers of numerous departments like Rural Development, Cooperatives), Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Panchayati Raj, Horticulture, Fisheries, Forest, Minor Irrigation, Rural Construction, Dairy and Pharmaceuticals were present. The DM stressed on inter-departmental coordination for swift development of the district and gave directive for holding salary of an official for negligence in departmental works. He
also directed the district development officer to hold a meeting with BDO for creating employment under MNREGA and provide the list of water conservation works to DFO Tehri under Jal Sanrakshan Abhiyan.
