Temperatures remained a few notches above normal in Dehradun on Sunday. Similar conditions are expected to prevail here for some more days with no major change in the weather expected. The State meteorological centre has forecast dry weather across the State and above normal temperatures in Dehradun on Monday. However, the temperatures may drop in the provisional State capital after a few days this week. The meteorological centre has further forecast that Dehradun is likely to witness a mainly clear sky with mist likely to occur during the morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 26 degrees Celsius and 10 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun today.
Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various places on Sunday were 26.6 degrees Celsius and 10.5 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 25.8 degrees Celsius and 8.6 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 17.4 degrees Celsius and five degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 17.1 degrees Celsius and 6.1 degrees Celsius in New Tehri. The maximum was two degrees Celsius above normal while the minimum was a degree above normal in Dehradun. In Mukteshwar, the maximum was a degree above normal while the minimum was a degree below normal. The maximum was two degrees below normal while the minimum was normal in New Tehri.
