Temperatures set to rise in coming days

Parts of the State are likely to experience hotter days during the next few days. The State meteorological centre has forecast that the maximum temperature is likely to increase by two to three degrees Celsius at a few places during the next four to five days. The maximum temperature is expected to reach four to five degrees Celsius above normal in such places during the next four to five days. The meteorological centre has further forecast that dry weather is likely to prevail in the districts of the State on Wednesday.

The provisional State capital Dehradun is likely to witness mainly clear skies with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to be

about 34 degrees Celsius and 16 degrees Celsius respectively on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Tuesday were 33.6 degrees Celsius and 16 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 35.2 degrees Celsius and 11.9 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 24 degrees Celsius and 9.3 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 24 degrees Celsius and 11.4 degrees Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
