Responding to the demand of the doctors, nurses and other staffer as well as patients and their relatives, a temporary police post has been set up at the Deen Dayal Upadhyay (Coronation) District Hospital at the initiative of the Dehradun senior superintendent of police (SSP) Ajai Singh.
A lady medic working at the State-run facility said that it was an imperative in view of the horrid rape-murder of a junior doctor in a government hospital in Kolkata.
