Temporary police post established at district hospital

Considering the importance of safety and security on the premises, the authorities have set up a temporary police post in the Deen Dayal Upadhyay (Coronation) district hospital. This action was taken in response to the recent alleged rape and murder of a female doctor at a government hospital in Kolkata.
Regarding this, the medical superintendent at the district hospital, VS Chauhan added that they have implemented various safety measures in response to the recent incident, especially focusing on the security of female doctors. A temporary police post has been established on the hospital premises with the help of the Dehradun senior superintendent of police Ajai Singh. Four police personnel including two males and two females have been posted here. Additionally, they have increased the number of PRD security guards at the hospital from eight to ten, he added. It will be recalled that the hospital administration has recently conducted an inspection of all CCTV cameras to ensure they are functioning properly.
