In latest news from Dehradun, the director, secondary education Mahaveer Singh Bisht issued an order to all the district chief education officers (CEO), informing about the changes in text books and curriculum for the academic year 2024-25 for the students studying in class I and class II. The order stated that these changes had been brought about after National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) had changed text books on English, Hindi and Mathematics. Bisht also directed the CEOs to send fresh demand for the new free books for the present academic session.
