THDC India Limited celebrated International Day of Yoga in Rishikesh on Wednesday attended by the employees of its corporate office. Chairman and managing director of THDC India Limited RK Vishnoi stressed on the profound impact of yogic practices on the physical and mental well- being of humans. He also spoke about the importance of yoga as a means of unifying humanity.
He said that through the practice of yoga, one can tap into the inner self that is the fount of compassion, inclusivity and a sense of shared responsibility towards the well-being of all. He averred that THDC India Limited remains committed to fostering a culture of wellness among its employees and the wider community. Director (Finance) J Behera in his address dwelt on ‘Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ theme, highlighting the need for unity and global cooperation in today’s strife-scarred world.
