THDC India Limited secured the second prize in the ‘Best Event Management’ category at the International Public Relations Festival-2023, hosted by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) in New Delhi.
Swami Chidanand Saraswati of Parmarth Niketan, Rishikesh, presented the award to THDCIL officials for the company’s exceptional contributions to branding, publicity and overall event management. The award was presented in recognition of THDCIL’s outstanding execution of the Tehri Water Sports Cup events held in December 2022 and September 2023. The THDCIL chairman and managing director RK Vishnoi congratulated the team and commended their efforts.
Vishnoi underscored the significance of effective public relations, emphasising its crucial role in fostering organisational success. The recognition gained by THDCIL stands as a testament to the company’s commitment to excellence in branding, publicity, and event management on both a national and international stage.
THDCIL director (Personnel) Shallinder Singh praised the corporate communications team for the award and its outstanding efforts in enhancing the organisation’s image through widespread outreach. He emphasised the crucial role of corporate communication as integral to the organisation’s service to society, highlighting its dedication to transparency and positive public perception.
The award was received by additional general manager (HR&A, CC) AN Tripathy, assistant manager (PR) Kajal Parmar, assistant manager (PR) Ishan Bhushan and ET (PR) Avinash Kumar.
