The chairman and managing director, THDC India Limited R K Vishnoi stressed on people’s participation as a crucial factor for the country’s development after unfurling the tricolour at THDCIL’s corporate headquarters in Rishikesh to mark India’s 75th Republic Day on Friday.
He ascribed THDCIL’s achievement in the power sector to the collective efforts and dedication of the THDCIL family. He applauded the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his vision for transforming India into a developed country by 2047 when the nation would be celebrating the centenary of its Independence.
Among the senior THDCIL officers present on the occasion were the director (Finance), J Behera, director (Personnel) Shallinder Singh and director (Technical) Bhupender Gupta). Cultural programmes by school students and horse riding skill displays were also held as part of the R-Day celebration.
