THDC India Limited (THDCIL) celebrated Constitution Day enthusiastically across its corporate office, project sites and unit offices. The occasion marks the historic presentation of the Constitution by the drafting committee led by B R Ambedkar and its adoption on November 26, 1949. The chairman and managing director THDCIL, R K Vishnoi emphasised the significance of the Indian Constitution, calling it the foundation of the country’s democracy. At the corporate office, the Preamble of the Indian Constitution was recited by the director (Personnel) Shallinder Singh to all heads of departments and employees of THDCIL. The director (Technical) Bhupender Gupta was also present at the reciting ceremony.
