THDCIL hosts LAHAR conclave on harnessing hydropower potential

THDC India Limited hosted the LAHAR conclave (Large Hydro Active Reach Out) 2024 at its corporate office in Rishikesh on Friday. The conclave served as a significant platform for showcasing innovations and fostering discussions pivotal to the advancement of India’s hydropower sector, THDCIL officers said. THDCIL chairman and managing director RK Vishnoi inaugurated the event.
In his address, Vishnoi emphasised the crucial role of hydropower in India’s energy landscape and the significance of the LAHAR conclave as a collective branding initiative for the hydropower sector. He outlined the conclave’s goals of fostering a positive community response towards hydropower development, countering prevalent negative perceptions and promoting sustainable practices for national growth.
