In latest news from Uttarakhand, THDC-IKCA High-Performance Academy secured three gold and five silver medals at the Asian Canoe Sprint Cup held in Hong Kong from January 11 to 13. The chairman and managing director THDCIL, R K Vishnoi congratulated the winners, saying that their victories are a testament to THDCIL’s relentless pursuit of excellence not only in energy generation but also across various dimensions of socio-economic development, including women empowerment, CSR initiatives and sports among others. “The success of our athletes is a proud moment for India and Uttarakhand,” he said. The director (Personnel), THDCIL, Shallinder Singh also conveyed his congratulations on this achievement. “THDC looks forward to gearing our sportspersons to compete in National Games, Asian Games and even at Olympics,” he said.
