THDC India Limited celebrated the 77th Independence Day in its corporate office in Rishikesh with the chairman and managing director of the company R K Vishnoi lauding the dedication being demonstrated by the THDC family towards the development and progress of the company as well as the nation. The director (Finance), J Behera hoisted the national flag and addressed the congregation of the employees and their family members. He underscored the role played by THDC in the nation’s fast-developing power sector and paid glowing tribute to those who laid down their lives on the altar of the country’s emancipation from the thraldom of colonial rule.
