THDC India Limited successfully commissioned its maiden 1320 MW Khurja STPP on Wednesday, informed its chairman and managing director R K Vishnoi. He further said that all the six coal mills had been put into operation with all technical parameters being stable and added that during the trial operation of Unit 1, maximum load of 664 MW had been achieved at mainstream pressure 262.4 kg/cm² and temperature 603 °C. The director (Technical) Bhupender Gupta was also present during the commissioning time.
Vishnoi congratulated the entire Team Khurja for the achievement and added that all ESP fields have been charged. The director (Personnel), THDCIL Shallinder Singh also congratulated the Khurja Team for this achievement and said that the full load run of Unit 1 of KSTPP is a testament to THDCIL’s commitment to strengthening its energy portfolio.
