The Asian School celebrated its 23rd founder’s day with enthusiasm on Saturday. Actor Priya Malik was the chief guest on the occasion. Welcoming the gathering, the school president Amarjeet Singh congratulated the students on their success in all spheres and thanked the parents who placed their faith in the school to better the future of their children. Presenting the annual report, the principal Ruchi Pradhan Datta encapsulated the salient events and results of the past two years in both scholastic and co-curricular activities along with the achievements of the school.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest asked the students if they were facing the stress of knowing what they wanted to become. She herself answered this question and advised them to try and find out who they wanted to be. She advised them to focus on ‘who’ instead of ‘what’ and urged them to become compassionate human beings. She also released the 23rd issue of the school magazine and the first issue of a collection of short stories by the students. In addition to felicitation of students of various achievements, various cultural presentations were also performed by the students on the occasion.
