Janmashtami celebration was held at The Asian School with the attendance of the principal Ruchi Pradhan Datta and senior management officials of the institution. An orchestra performance titled ‘Taal Tarang’ was performed by the budding artists of school, the school office- bearers said, adding that devotional songs and classical dance were also presented by the students as parts of the celebration. Some class XII students while speaking to the gathering said that Janmashtami epitomises moral living, devotion and compassion. The principal said that the school attaches great importance to celebrating festivals of devotion.
