The 24rd junior sports day of The Asian School was held on Monday with numerous sporting events organised for the students. While the primary school students participated in 25 metre, 50 metre, 80 metre, 100 metre and shuttle races the pre-primary students took part in bursting balloon race, beads race and ring race.
Besides, students of class IV and V presented zumba dance on the occasion while some presented a series of 12 physical postures included in ‘Surya Namaskar’. The students also performed Shiv Tandav dance.
The chief guest for the event was Sumit Datta who had served long tenures in the hostile territories of Northern and Eastern sectors of India and represented the services in Ranji Trophy, informed the principal of The Asian School Ruchi Pradhan Datta.
