The third G 20 Infrastructure Working Group (IWG) meeting under the Indian G 20 Presidency concluded at Narendra Nagar on Wednesday. The three day events commenced on June 26 and was attended by 63 delegates from G 20 member countries, invitee countries, and international organisations.
On the concluding day two sessions were organised, wherein the delegates discussed the framework to enhance the capacities of the urban administrations, along with another important workstream outlined in the 2023 infrastructure agenda.
An excursion programme was also organised for the delegates during which they visited Beatles Ashram and experienced Ganga Aarti at the Triveni Ghat. A ‘Yoga Retreat’ for the delegates was also organised. The delegates also enjoyed a friendly cricket match organised at the PTC grounds. The next and last meeting of the Infrastructure Working Group is scheduled in September at Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh.
