Some amendments have been made in the qualifications prescribed for fixed salary (contract) posts of water, land and air sports experts in the personnel structure of the adventure tourism wing under Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board.
The State tourism minister Satpal Maharaj informed this while replying to a question raised by an opposition member Bhuwan Chandra Kapri on the third day of the budget session of the Vidhan Sabha on Wednesday.
Kapri asked Maharaj to present the complete list of land, water and air sports activities and details of the courses available at recognised institutions. The minister presented the complete list of the multiple sports activities and also the list of the recognised institutions which have rolled out courses. Maharaj said that amendments would further boost the prospects of adventure sports in the State.
