In latest Uttarakhand news, a coordination committee comprising officers of different departments deployed in and around Kedarnath shrine has been constituted to make Kedarnath Yatra smooth and easy. Taking a serious note of the visitors making You Tubes and reel videos with a gusto, the coordination committee has directed the Quick Response Team to keep watch on those who are trying to violate the sanctity of the shrine through getting engaged in creating You Tubes and reels. Actions may be taken against them. Besides, direction has been given to keep covert watch on smuggling of liquor. Covert raids may be made on the receipt of complaints of sale of liquor in the shrine premises. The yatra magistrate SDM Vijay Nath Sukla and deputy superintendent of police Bimal Rawat presided over the coordination committee meeting. Among the decisions taken during the meeting were to repair the damaged barricades and to maintain a proper queue system for the visitors.
