Three bodies recovered from accident site in Pithoragarh

The State Disaster Relief Force (SDRF) has recovered three dead bodies from a gorge following an accident near Gurna in Pithoragarh. The authorities were informed that a car fell into a gorge near Gurna with some passengers on Monday evening.
The teams of Police and State Disaster Relief Force (SDRF) arrived at the accident scene and started the rescue operation. According to SDRF sub-inspector Devendra Kumar, the car has fallen into a 400-metre deep gorge and it took a few hours to search for bodies during the night. He said that the SDRF team found two dead bodies late Monday night and handed them over to the police.
The teams conducted another search to look for the bodies of the remaining passengers on Tuesday and recovered another body. All the three deceased are men aged 28, 34 and 38 years, and have been identified as Neerja Saun, Dheeraj Saun and Suresh Singh Mehta.
