In a tragic accident, three children died in Pratapnagar block of Tehri district as the utility vehicle they were travelling in fell into a 500-metre deep ditch. It is learnt that the trio while returning after playing cricket sought lift. Police and SDRF team rushed to the spot. According to the police, the accident happened after the driver lost control over the vehicle and the vehicle fell into gorge. The police station in-charge Mahipal Singh Rawat said that the police and SDRF members were trying to retrieve the bodies and at the same time, search for the driver was going on.
