The state health department reported the death of three patients from Covid 19 and detected only 103 new cases of the disease in Uttarakhand on Monday.
The department has so far detected 90,236 new cases of the disease from January 1 this year till date. A total of 86,038 patients have recovered from the disease so far in this year while 256 patients have died in the state since January 1 this year. The recovery percentage of the disease was at 95.35 per cent on Monday. The positivity rate of the disease was reported at 1.30 per cent on the day.
The authorities reported the death of one patient each at Government Doon Medical College (GDMC) hospital Dehradun, Himalayan hospital Dehradun and Premsukh hospital Dehradun on Monday.
The health department reported 32 new patients from Dehradun, 17 each from Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar and 15 from Pauri on Monday. No case was reported from Pithoragarh while one patient each was detected in Rudraprayag, Tehri, Uttarkashi, Champawat and Chamoli districts on the day.
The active case count of Covid-19 in the state is now at 1069. Champawat with 236 cases is at the top of the table of active cases while Haridwar has 208 active cases of the disease. Bageshwar is at the bottom of the table with nine active cases. In the ongoing vaccination drive 18,097 people were vaccinated in 1015 sessions in the state held on Monday.
