Light to moderate rain/thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in Dehradun, Bageshwar and Nainital districts and at a few places in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts, and at many places in the remaining districts of the State on Sunday. The State meteorological centre has also issued a yellow warning (Be Updated) regarding the possibility of thunderstorms accompanied with lightning/intense to very intense spells of rain likely to occur at isolated places in the mountainous districts of Uttarakhand today.
The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to witness a partly to generally cloudy sky. One or two spells of light to moderate rain/thundershowers are likely to occur in Dehradun today.
Meanwhile, light to moderate rainfall was recorded in various parts of the State on Saturday with 30.5 millimetres in Jakhnidhar, 23.5 millimetres in Chamba, 19.5 millimetres in Dhanaulti8, 17 millimetres in New Tehri, 14 millimetres in Kotdwar, six millimetres in Thalisain and 5.5 millimetres in Chakrata.
