The ticket counter for the general public interested in visiting the museum at the Himalayan Culture Centre (HCC) has not been started yet.
The Culture department director Beena Bhatt had earlier said that the department was consistently monitoring the situation at HCC. Due to the department’s involvement in other endeavours there has been a delay in opening the ticket counter for the general public. She had assured that the ticket counter would be opened by September 25.
Concerning the further delay in opening the ticket counter at HCC, an official of the Culture department said that the opening of the ticket counter has been delayed due to the ongoing work related to artifacts at the HCC. However, it is expected to start soon. Further, Bhatt informed that the department intends to resume the regional dialect class at HCC in October. Earlier it was slated to be held in the month of September. However, it was delayed due to the low number of people interested in the class.
