In latest news from Uttarakhand, tiger attacked a villager when he was cutting grass for cattle near Vanrawat vasti at Chakarpur in Udham Singh Nagar district. Though wounded in the feline attack, the man, identified as Trilok Singh Samant, managed to flee. Upon receiving the news of the attack, the forest department officers rushed in and sent the injured to hospital.
