Speaking at an event on Veer Bal Diwas in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the role of youngsters in the nation’s progress and stressed on adopting a futuristic approach to equip them with skills in emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning. This era had moved beyond machines to machine learning with AI taking the centre stage, he said.
He remembered the ‘unparalleled’ sacrifice of Guru Gobind Singh’s sons at the Mughal court on December 26 over 300 years ago.
He also interacted with the winners of the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar. Seventeen children from 14 States and Union Territories had been honoured for their exceptional contributions in multiple fields.
