In latest news from Uttarakhand, as directed by the Uttarakhand government, the Tehri district magistrate Mayur Dixit issued timetable for reorganisation/delimitation of village Badeda under Narendra Nagar development block. As per the time table, under the Reorganisation/Delimitation-2024 of Gram Panchayat and Territorial Constituency, reorganisation proposals will be received on December 10. On December 11, the proposals will be examined and a list will be prepared while the provisional publication of the proposals will be done on December 12. Objections will be invited on the reorganisation proposal on December 13, the objection will be resolved on December 16 after which the final proposal will be published and sent to the directorate. Provisional publication of the list of territorial constituencies will be done on December 19, inviting objections on December 20. The objections will be disposed of on December 21 and the final publication will be done on December 23 and the list of territorial constituencies will be made available to the directorate on December 24.
The process of gram panchayat reorganisation/delimitation and re-delimitation of Area Panchayat/District Panchayat territorial constituency will be done on the basis of 2011 census.
