Tiwari directs actions against errant complexes on basement parking

In latest news from Dehradun, the vice-chairman, Mussoorie-Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) Banshidhar Tiwari directed the officers concerned to take prompt actions against the owners of complexes spread over MDDA’s jurisdictional area if they are found to have flouted the MDDA-formulated basement parking rules. He also asked them to submit action taken reports at the earliest regarding this. Notably, the tragic incident that occurred at an IAS coaching centre in New Delhi alerted the administration here too.
He further announced that MDDA would set up its nursery to speed up its tree plantation initiatives and added that 80 per cent of the target of planting 1 lakh trees across Dehradun has already been acvieved.
