The Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) vice chairman Banshidhar Tiwari directed officials to ensure high quality in construction of the 240 residential units being constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban for economically weaker section in the Dhaulas area of Dehradun.
Tiwari conducted the inspection of the construction site on Tuesday. He emphasised that the primary objective of this project is to provide affordable and well-equipped housing to the economically weaker sections of society. He said that these houses are being constructed under the Dhaulas Housing Scheme in compliance with the guidelines of the PMAY.
Efforts are being made to ensure that the project is completed within the stipulated time frame with significant progress already achieved in it. Tiwari said, “The government’s aim is to ensure housing for every individual in need. The Dhaulas project is a significant step toward achieving this goal.”
