In latest news from Uttarakhand, to mark the 75th Republic Day, the traders’ body organised a commemorative programme in Dunda Bazaar during which Manjira Devi Shikshan Avam Prashikshan Sansthan was felicitated for its contribution in the field of education and technology. Besides, a BJP leader Pawan Nautiyal was also felicitated on the occasion. The organisers said that the event had been organised to help the rural people become self-reliant by involving them in the developmental activities in the spheres of education, health and employment. The chairman of MDSPS Bhagwan Nautiyal said that they had been providing education to and honing technical skills among the women and children of the rural areas, adding that so far his institute had provided employment to over 500 people. Pawan Nautiyal said that as a BJP leader, his focus remained trained on the development of villages.
