Traffic diversion today due to Shah’s arrival

Some routes will remain diverted today in some areas of Dehradun due to the arrival of Union Home minister Amit Shah at an event in Bannu School.
According to the police, the traffic on routes from Dehradun airport trijunction, Bhaniyanwala trijunction, Kargi Chowk and Post Office trijunction in Garhi Cantt will be diverted for a few hours. According to the police, the people who want to attend the event will have to park their vehicles in the designated areas.
Those arriving from EC Road will park their vehicles in Parade Ground and those arriving from the Haridwar route will park on the ground near Vishal Megamart. People arriving from Chakrata and Mussoorie will park in the old bus stand and those arriving from Haridwar and Roorkee will park near Haridwar Bypass.
The parking for four-wheeler vehicles will be available at the parking space of Saraswati Vidya Mandir and for two wheelers in Guru Nanak Doon Valley. The officials have appealed to the public to take alternate routes and use public transportation to avoid inconvenience.
