Traffic route plan released for Kanwad Mela
Traffic diversions will be put in place from Thursday with the start of the Kanwad Yatra

According to the traffic plan, all small and big vehicles going from Delhi to Dehradun-Rishikesh will be diverted from Rampur Tiraha via Deoband to Gagalhedi via Chhutmalpur Biharigarh to Dehradun and Rishikesh. Small and big vehicles going from Delhi to Dehradun-Rishikesh entering Haridwar border will be diverted from Bijhauli to Bhagwanpur-Mandawar-Chhutmalpur and Biharigarh. Vehicles coming from Delhi, Meerut and Muzaffarnagar to Haridwar will be diverted from Muzaffarnagar to Manglaur, Nagla Imarti and Landaura to Laksar, Jagjitpur via Sultanpur, Ferupur and SM Tiraha diversion from Shani Chowk to Matri Sadan and will parked at Dakshadweep parking. Vehicles headed towards Moradabad and Najibabad from Delhi, Meerut, Haryana and Punjab will be sent from Laksar Tiraha to Raisi, Balawali via Bijnor route.
Vehicles going from Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh to Gangotri, Yamunotri will be sent via Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Rampur Tiraha, Deoband, Gagalheri, Dehradun, Vikasnagar, Yamuna bridge, Damta to Gangotri and Yamunotri. Tractor-trolley, buses and other vehicles coming from Moradabad, Bijnor and Najibabad will be diverted and sent to Gaurishankar parking and Neeldhara parking. Vehicles going from Dehradun to Delhi-Meerut, Muzaffarnagar will go towards Delhi via Dat Kali Mandir tunnel, Biharigarh and Chhutmalpur.
All roadways buses coming from Dehradun-Rishikesh will be routed from Nepali Farm trijunction to Raiwala and Motichur parking lot. Buses coming from Najibabad-Bijnor will be diverted from Chidiyapur and parked in Gaurishankar-Neeldhara parking. Similarly buses coming from Delhi, Meerut and Muzaffarnagar will be parked at Rishikul ground, Hariram Arya Inter College parking.
