Traffic will remain diverted on various routes in Dehradun due to the passing out parade to be held on Saturday at the Indian Military Academy (IMA). According to the police, the traffic will remain diverted during the passing out parade from 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM today. The duration of traffic diversion may be decreased or extended depending on the traffic load. According to the traffic plan released by the police, no traffic will be allowed to move towards IMA during the parade. The IMA will remain a zero zone during the passing out parade. The traffic from Ballupur to Premnagar will be diverted from Ranghadwala trijunction towards Mitthiberi to reach Premnagar. The traffic from Premnagar towards the city will be diverted towards Daru Chowk/Mitthiberi and then towards Shimla bypass and the Niranjanpur Mandi to reach the city. All the traffic from Selaqui/Bhauwala will be sent from Dhulkot trijunction to Singhniwala and Nayagaon to reach the city. Similarly, the traffic from Dehradun city towards Vikasnagar will be diverted from Shimla bypass towards Vikasnagar-Dharmawala.
