Travel agents arrested in scam case granted bail, company denies allegations

The management of PCM Worldwide Flights Private Limited has refuted allegations against three of its travel agents who were arrested on October 18 for allegedly defrauding foreigners under the pretense of booking international flights.
In an official statement, officials of PCM Worldwide Flights said that the police investigations have found no violations under the Information Technology Act. The company claimed that the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) III court in Dehradun granted bail to the accused, who were taken into custody during a raid on the company’s Dehradun office.
During the raid, police seized multiple laptops and other IT equipment, which the court has now directed to be returned to the company. They emphasised the company’s commitment to operating with truth and integrity. They said that the company continues its operations as usual and remains ready to fully cooperate with administrative and judicial authorities as required.
